A voluntary village endevour

A handful of villagers get together every two months to produce the Countesthorpe Herald. An award winning community newspaper which was started in the 1970s. Now printed in full colour throughout the 28 pages.

Extra help, with the writing, layout, delivery or organisation would be very welcome

Distributed to every household in the village

Once printed, over 70 local volunteers make sure over 3,400 copies go through every letterbox in the village. All of the helpers are volunteers who give their time to the community.

We would encourage anyone to send in local news, views, opinions or photos. The paper can only reflect village life that we get to hear about. If you feel your group or interest is under represented - send us your news. herald@macunlimited.net
