CHRISTMAS JOKES
1. What is a snowman’s favourite
Claudio Ranieri gave a slice of pizza to the Leicester City players because they kept a clean sheet. Careful Claudio we don’t want them getting over weight. ‘Jamie Vardy is still having a pardy’ because he scored again against Watford 9 in a row. The next games are Newcastle, Manchester United and Swansea. We shall be there to see Leicester play Swansea, Liverpool and Tottenham. I still predict a top four finish for the Foxes.

THE EXPEDITION
We did it! This summer we went walking and camping to win our Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards.
Matt said the expedition was interesting to do and it was fun.
Millie shared a tent with Alisha, she took all the room in the tent and was too tidy. Matt was in the same tent with Jamie and Frankie. Jamie kept us up all night snoring until morning.
Matt lost his balance due to his muddy boots that couldn’t get a grip.
Here we go again, next summer we’re doing the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award!

MY DREAM
CHRISTMAS
I want to tell you about what would happen if my Christmas dreams came true.
I would spend Christmas at home with Mum, Dad, and my brother. I would read books, watch telly, and play video games. Before dinner I would open presents. I would like the DVDs and books to be by Jamie Oliver, because I like his food and I like to cook.
I would make Christmas dinner and Mum and Dad would help me. We would have carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, chicken, baked potatoes, and water
to drink, and chocolate Christmas cake for pudding.
This would be the greatest Christmas ever. Merry Christmas Countesthorpe

CAN’T BEAT CURRY !
Let me introduce myself as the Curry King of Countesthorpe. I love curry and in the last 2 months I been to 8 Indian Restaurants in the local area. They are: Spice 45 - Narborough, Dine India - Countesthorpe, Sharb Grill and Cuisine of India - Wigston, The Marten Inn - Leicester, The New Road Inn - Welford Road, Sands - Glenfield
My opinion is that the curry scene in this area is “quality”. Curry is my favourite food. For local people the Dine India was really tasty and I would recommend it. Also Cuisine of India was just as good.
I even cook my own curry and I’ve always had good reports from family saying how good and tasty it is. Watch out. I might open a restaurant in your area!

thing to do?
2. Why does Father Christmas have
three gardens?
So he can ho ho ho.
3. Why did Santa’s little helper see the doctor?
Because he had low elf-esteem.
4. Why do elves exercise and eat right?
To stay elfy.
5. Who delivers presents to sharks?
Santa Jaws.
6. Santa was visiting a house and as usual there was a plate of milk and cookies for him and some carrots for the deer. Anyway Santa picked up a cookie and bit into it. Another cookie saw this and, shocked, said crumbs!
7. There were two snowmen in a field. One snowman said “not sure about you but I smell carrots.”
Merry Christmas from Harry Daulby
DANCING AT CURVE
Twelve of us from Birkett House went to the Curve to perform in a dance festival called “In Union”. It was based on the rugby world cup. There were 9 special schools and a dance school. Each had a country from the world cup. We were South Africa and our performance was based on Nelson Mandela. We not only danced but we sang, signed and acted. I played the guitar. It was amazing to be on the stage at a big theatre.

MR LEICESTER CITY
Hi it’s Jamie Smallwood and James Wright your Leicester City supporters here.
Recently, James has been to three away games as well all the home games. Leicester City are still unbeaten away from home, that’s why we’re third in the league. Last time Jamie predicted they would win the Capital Cup, oh so wrong he was!!!
Now he says it’s the FA Cup! We shall see.
Ride his icicle.
