ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT 2016
Back in March a lovely sunny day was afforded to us for our annual Easter egg hunt 2016. This was a cause for rejoicing as last year was washed out with rain. Families and children from the community attended the egg hunt discovering the many clues around the village. In so doing each was rewarded with Easter eggs. At the close of the egg hunt Pastor Aubrey gave a simple object lesson explaining the Easter Story
of how Christ died for our sins, was buried and on the third day rose again. Explaining that God offers to all who believe the forgiveness of sins and a new life! Afterwards we enjoyed a buffet tea together. The remaining eggs were all donated to Rainbows children’s hospice. A big thank you to the local Cooperative, Tesco stores and everyone who donated Easter eggs for this community event.
