MACMILLAN
Featured in the photo are our Bake-Off winners: left to right, Joe Marvin, 2nd, with Jo Anne Wilson, Marilyn Parnham, 1st,
and Caroline Vickers, 3rd.
Back in October we had our own take on the ‘Great British Bake Off’, which was in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Trust. We were truly thankful to everyone who contributed by bringing cakes and giving generously for this worthy cause. There were cakes to eat for everyone, whatever your cake preference. The evening consisted of eating cake of course! But also there was the opportunity to guess the weight of a cake, a wall quiz which involved naming cakes from around the world, the bake off competition itself and we all had the opportunity to hear about the vital work of Macmillan Cancer Trust from one of their representatives, Jo Anne Wilson.
In total the evening raised £182:00 for Macmillan Cancer Trust. A big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who came along and made it a successful evening.

This would mainly involve setting out chairs between 12.30 and 1.30pm, then returning to clear them away between 3.30 and 4.30pm. Exact times to be discussed.
If you can help, please call Graham Surman on 247 8043 to discuss details and costs
