PLEASURES & PASTIMES
The Flower Festival at Foston Church took place in glorious weather in mid June and attracted lots of people to see the flowers inside church arranged to the theme of ‘Pleasures and Pastimes’ and to enjoy refreshments and stalls outside in the grounds.
It was indeed a pleasure to have our Communion Service on the Sunday morning amongst the arrangements and pleasing that so many folk were able to join the regular congregation.
Sorry I have not taken in the total amount raised but I hear it was a good return for the time involved by lots of volunteers. One important thing for everyone to remember is that for now services at Foston will be on the second and fourth Sundays of the month so in August on 13th and 27th and of course everyone is welcome.
