I have not seen final figures for the attendance at the Craft Market but it is clear there were a lot of people buying and selling all day and everyone went home smiling! I am glad that the stall supporting charity Together Against Cancer were very pleased with their results and send out a special thank you to those who supported them!
Looking ahead now we have a busy time coming up beginning as we join with LE8 FIVE bringing our own supper for a festive evening on Friday Dec 8th Tickets for this event must be bought ahead at £10 per person from LE8 fivebrassquintet@hotmail.com or from active.arts2010@gmail.com We will have a willow workshop making Christmas decorations (which is fully booked I must add). The Phollies Christmas Sing a long is on December 19th in Greenfield School, for which you can pay the £5 on the door for a 7.30 start,
After the excitement of Christmas artists amongst us will hopefully be preparing canvasses for the Art Exhibition over the first weekend in March, while we look forward to the Helix Concert in February. My best advice is to look on the website at active.arts2010@gmail.com and to enjoy the festive season.
COFFEE AT THE COURT
I am a resident at Brook Court, which is sheltered housing owned by EMH Homes. There are twenty-eight flats

and ages range from sixty to ninety. We have a social club the aim of which is to promote the interest and wellbeing of residents living at Brook Court; promote an inclusive community by holding social activities for all to address the issues of isolation and health.
We hold a coffee morning every Wednesday morning from 10.30am to 12 noon and would be pleased to see some new faces. Most weeks we have homemade cake with our coffee.
