resolutely, fulfilled all righteousness in obedience to God’s law, and who willingly died for our sins at the cross and on the third day rose again; God’s divine justice was satisfied and God’s love demonstrated towards sinners and a new resurrection life offered to all who repent and believe, a life filled with purpose, which glorifies God and enjoys him presently and forever.
That’s why in 2023 you can make the profoundest of all resolutions which will have a bearing not only in this life, but in the life to come. The Bible is clear: “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: the old has gone and the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Therefore, can I encourage you as we have entered into a new year, why not consider making a significantly different resolution to seek after God. The Bible is clear: (Jeremiah 29:13) You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. A good place to start would be by coming along to Countesthorpe Baptist Church and meeting others who have also made the profoundest of all resolutions to (Acts 16:31) believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, each coming to know and enjoy God for themselves.

Countesthorpe Baptist Church invites you to Christianity Explored 2023 which starts on Tuesday 14th February @ 7pm and runs for seven weeks at the Baptist Centre.
Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to explore Christianity for themselves. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. You won’t be asked to pray, sing, or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen to the talks.
Be assured of a warm welcome and a lovely coffee and dessert.
If you want to find out more or be part of this free course, then simply get in touch and register contacting our pastor on 07581 477 810 or email:

Tots and Tea at the Baptist Chapel has recommenced after the Christmas break. It runs every Tuesday 10:15-11:15am at Countesthorpe Baptist Church. It’s for children aged between 0 and 4 years and there is no charge.
Everyone with infants of suitable age is welcome to come along and join the Tots and Tea group.
A NEW YEAR INVITATION
We now hold two services each Sunday. Our morning service is held at 10:30am, which is a time of singing God’s praise, prayer and listening to Bible teaching for both adults and children, and Sunday evenings at 6pm we hold a short, plain service, ideal for those unfamiliar with church, to which all are welcome to come and hear the good news!
