HOP ABOARD FREE BUS
Launched in April, our Hop! bus service is proving increasingly popular. Hop! is a free electric service which loops around Leicester city centre, connecting you with shops, attractions and transport hubs. There are 12 stops along the route and the three green buses operate every 10 minutes from 8am-6pm, Monday to Saturday. More than 36,000 trips were made in the first two months. The service is running on an 18-month trial basis, operated by Centrebus.
Hop! is just one of the projects being delivered by Leicester Buses Partnership, which delivered 75% of its goals in its first year.
PHOLLIES CHOIR CONCERT
What a great night! Phollies Choir were singing at Bitteswell Performing Arts Centre. The Summer Gala Concert was raising funds for Hope Against Cancer. The fantastic concert was so well supported that it was sold out and raised a great amount for the charity.
