8 THE NEW COUNTESTHORPE HERALD
AUGUST 2023
   ACTIVE
ARTS NEWS
We have enjoyed the art work displayed on the railings of Greenfield School and wish to thank all the artists -of all ages I need to emphasise- for their interpretations of the theme of Holidays. I must also mention the help and support of the school and a cheery bunch of helpers who set out the works of art -and also took them down in time for the end of term!
While this edition of the Herald is being printed a band of craftspeople will gather for a Willow Weaving Workshop, aiming to go home with useful and beautiful items guided by a charming and talented expert, Catherine. I must ask for photographs of the items made.
There are various events coming up as Autumn approaches and full details can be checked on our website www, activearts.info as well as on posters around the village.
