The 23rd of June 2023 was another historic day in the life of Countesthorpe Baptist, as our Church officers, alongside our pastor, travelled up to Trinity Grace Church
in Ramsbottom for another national association meeting of Confessional Baptist Churches. This time not only to be observers but to officially represent the members of Countesthorpe Baptist Church and their decision to join the newly constituted association. Pictured is our Pastor Aubrey Vaughan officially signing the document of association with the newly constituted Association of Confessional Baptist Churches UK. We pray over the forthcoming years this association will be further established with like-minded Baptist Churches and it will serve as a means of practical and spiritual benefit for all the Churches it represents and for the advancement of the gospel locally, nationally and globally, and may all the glory go to God alone.
THE BIG BREAKFAST
We are commencing our Big Sunday Breakfasts once again. The first was on September 10th and forthcoming dates are October 8th and November 12th..
It is an opportunity for the members of the Church to share a hearty breakfast together, fellowship and prayer.
We would like to extend the invitation to our community in Countesthorpe. Maybe you’ve moved into the area and are looking for a Church, or would simply value a full English breakfast; it’s all free. All we ask is that you join us for our Sunday worship which follows directly afterwards. The breakfast starts at 9am and the morning service follows at 10:30am.
