WELCOME, EMMA
Early in June
Emma Adams was
appointed Benefice
Administrator
for the Four
Saints Benefice.
As with ‘Ant’
her predecessor,
her base will be
the office in the
Bridge. However
as a mother of three
young children, she
has to work around
child care arrangements. This means that she will work from home on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10.00 and 13.00 and in the office on Wednesday also between 10.00 and 13.00. Emma hopes to work at the office more often from April next year when her youngest child starts school. This is a big step from her first contact with St. Andrew’s through Messy Church. Edward Thomas

LITTLE FRIENDS AT ST ANDREW’S
‘Little Friends’ is a free group for preschool children and babies, along with their parent/carer. We meet in The Bridge (opposite the Co-op) on Thursday afternoons during term-time, from 1.45 to 3:00 pm. There are songs, a Bible story, refreshments, and lots of toys. If you are at home with a little one, why not come along to say hello and have a cupper with us. We begin again on 31st August.

fellow Benefice lay ministers June Ainge, Gail Mackley, Lindsey Jelves and Mike Oates. Jacqui says:
‘I live in Countesthorpe with my husband, Dave. Between us we have four children, and three grandchildren. Up until a couple of years ago I worked at Leicester Diabetes Centre, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. My passion was developing and delivering Diabetes health education for healthcare professionals and for people trying to prevent or live with this challenging long-term health condition. A few years ago, I felt that God was nudging me to new things ... so I took a risk, took early retirement, and here I am today ... licensed as an Associate Minister.’
