take advantage of an extensive bookstall provided by Day One Ministries, as well as get to know more about various missions and Christian charities. Among the exhibitors, were Zambesi Mission, SASRA, who work with our armed forces, and a local Christian school in Leicester called Emmanuel; also Friends International, who work among foreign students, and, particularly encouraging, a local volunteer-led ministry helping those with unplanned pregnancies called Jakin Counselling based at the Kings Centre, Wigston.

After lunch, as an added bonus, we were treated to a Q&A session with Paul Mallard and a couple of the pastors from the East Midlands Ministers Fraternal that organise the event, with a good range of questions from heaven to salvation and the environment and the Gospel.
During this time over 150 children and Youth had a separate meeting held by local youth workers and Church members. At lunchtime folk either ate their own packed lunch or treated themselves to a delicious hog-roast or Indian street food. And of course, a much-needed Ice Cream as we were blessed with warm weather.
